Even if it's just for a weekend the way we choose a holiday destination is increasingly related to the variety of attractions in the surrounding area. Travellers and explorers love locations offering relax, good food and good wine but often they will choose locations that allow short trips in the surroundings, either for the sake of art, monumental architecture and history, in other cases they will opt for the appeal of nature and lush landscapes, or for the beauty of the countryside or even for the sea, the nightlife bustle and shopping opportunities.

Points of interest

Our is a strategic position also because the main points of interest of our Region, as soon as we leave Oslavia and Gorizia are all easily reachable by car or train within a maximum of one / two / three hours - for example Cividale and the Longobard Temple, the Basilica of Aquileia and the Roman ruins, Trieste and the Carso, Barcola, the Miramare Castle with its park, the historic center of Udine, the beaches of Lignano and Caorle or the mount Piancavallo just to name a few. This means that you can stay with us and fully experience the best of Friuli Venezia Giulia in all its extraordinary variedness, from the lagoon of Grado to the Julian Alps. Last but not least, we are only an hour by motorway to Ljubljana, the capital of neighbouring Slovenja and just half an hour from the unmissable Soča Valley (Valle dell'Isonzo) for rowing enthusiasts.
